I suggest adding a button to display the scenario results again if the scenario is over and you have mistakenly closed that window.
Lacking such a function is a pity, especially for creating AARs. Sometimes when you analyze or record the battle, you have to frequently go to the map and check details, such as where your scout force located the enemy, where your capital ship was sunk, or just enjoy your impressive outflanking tactics.

I would really appreciate the ability to record and replay the whole battle, ideally with or without Fog of War. Record as its running. Play back without the pauses for direction, with speed controls. Selector for "as seen" based on conditions, sighting ranges, etc (with FoW) and with all ships revealed.

Strongly seconded! I regularely click away this window because I feel exhausted after battle. Then I recall that I wanted to know a specific point...

Agreed, this is another example of the UI fighting the UX for some arcane technical reason. It seems simple and obvious on the surface to us, but I am sure it is less so code-wise

Been asking for this since RtW2. Would really like to be able to explore the map and courses ships had taken during the course of the battle to make better sense of what I'm reading in the logs.
