Is there a way to prevent my dive bombers and torpedo bombers from taking part in routine CAP? I just noticed that When i set a CAP settings for my carrier force, it distributes equally between all the aircraft types present in that particular carrier force even if that makes no sense. How can i designate only fighters/ naval patrol/ recon planes to take part in routine CAP???

I've only ever seen my fighters performing CAP (and they're the only type that it makes sense to have as CAP, as you say). Are you sure this isn't just some UI quirk/misunderstanding? Do you actually see aircraft on the map labelled "TB CAP" or similar?

Those TB and DB might not be cap, missing ones might be being used as your recon elements.

There is a button in battle at the top right that lets you adjust recon and CAP settings, which includes an option to not run recon missions. You can also check the "floatplane search priority" in the doctrine menu to prefer non-carrier floatplanes for recon, saving some or all of your strike aircraft for actual combat.

Little addition to what dman said: Do this at the very start of a battle. If you advance time even once, your TB/DB will already be set up to launch for their recon mission.

Just a word of warning - I build my CAs with all-forward armament, a floatplane hangar and 5-6 planes for recon. I prioritize floatplane recon - and I still lose 2-3 planes from each carrier DB or TB squadron for recon.
