Understanding the Reports Tab

Does anyone know what the format for a report in the Reports Tab is? I've started to try to parse them better but I really am not sure exactly what everything means.

From what I've noticed in my most recent 1960s battle, there are two formats:

A: 07 [time:time] [units spotted] Course [course if noted] - [spotting unit/mission]

e.g. 07 06:01 1 CA 6 DD Course NE - Scout #355 (Razyaschyy)

B: 30 00:00 [units spotted] Course [course if noted] - [spotting unit/mission]

e.g. 30 00:00 1 CA 1 CL 8 DD Course NW - Scout #279 (Komsomolets)

My most salient question is probably what does the first number mean? Does anyone know what the difference is between 07 and 30? Are there other numbers? I've always taken 30 to mean it's not as accurate given the report doesn't have a timestamp but I don't know for sure.

If I recall correctly, it's the day of the month on which the report was generated.

That makes a lot of sense. 07 because it's 7 August in my battle, 30 must be the placeholder for "no date" then on the undated entries. Thanks!
