While trying to create lategame ship-killer, I've found, that five missile launchers have five different weights! Neither superimposed, nor "low" mounts are standardized. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5448234/thumbnailer/GV0DUIkxEPewlLkmtopv.png) Also, auto-generated late game designs have different starting ASW bonus. As you may see at screenshot, nearly equal final ships have different asw. My suspicion is that DC throwers and other features, which become obsolete and shouldn't influence at result, still add their ASW value during generation, while their removal don't lower value. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5448234/thumbnailer/dIqrXGCtSSkTERmDozyD.png) Auto-generated AI ships get medium SAM and double launchers earlier, than their techs allow this. This is especially true for AV and CL. When I try to build such autodesign at their yards, medium single SAM pass check freely (though I can't add them by myself), while double launcher (At AV3X1 pattern) cause error "building nation don't invent double launchers". And strange thing with air search RADAR. At 1940-th I may "strategically" see enemy air groups at their routine flights as green dots. However, since 1950-th they become invisible again. I don't know, if this depends of high RADAR value, time, or "low level attack profile" tech. If last, it should still show me at least CAP patrols and DB strikes, though I never see them.
