Was it ever stated that ships could suffer issues, such as steering malfunctions, after repairs due to battle damage?
Couldn't find it in the manual, but have had some very strange behaviour from a recently repaired ship so am not sure if it's a bug or if it's suffering from issues with the repair.

As far as I am aware, there isn't anything like that. Britain has the "Hidden Flaws" trait, though, which might be impacting your ship's performance. Also make sure that the hull itself isn't obsolete and you've got a commander who knows what they're doing on the bridge.

As it turns out, it looked like the commander simply got very antsy when near torpedo range/to the coast line - I never checked if he had the 'timid' trait post battle, now I think about it.
I actually wondered if the ship had developed some sort of steering fault it was that severe, hence my question (the Hidden Flaws wouldn't apply here, it simply makes British ships even more vulnerable to flash fires).
