Hi, I've been playing alot of SaI campaigns, and decided to try my hand at designing a more interesting scenario to increase the challenge levels on both sides of the main campaign covering the North Sea 1914-1918 given this is a vs. AI game. This is a what if scenario whereby both sides devote far more resources to their navies. Its also a convenient means of featuring ships that either were not built, or were built only by war's end, or simply were deployed in overseas theaters. As such many ships will not only be represented but will be deployed with enough time to make a potential difference in the game's outcome. This is a beta, aka a work in progress. Creating a campaign is largely trial by error as there is little documentation to go on when it comes to designing scenerios/campaigns. I believe the current version is playable so figured i'd share it at it's current development level. In addition to the listed changes listed in the introduction i've also modified a few classes to better represent them historically within the limitations of the game engine. (The Konig class is an exception.....they are a re-imaging of my favorite German dreadnought class which, had the funds been made available could have been Germany's first "super-dreadnought" class). Either way they make things far more challenging for the British side, while also giving the Germans the classic conundrum that comes with risking a valuable set of ships that cannot easily be replaced. Players who wish to have "historical Konigs" can easily modify the campaign and change the class from "Konig2" to "Konig" Feedback welcome. Attachments:NorthSeaStronger.zip (194.68 KB)
