Battle scenarios are in the warfiles. There are 11 scenarios for any nation fighting a battle, numbered 0 to 10. For example, these are all the scenarios for a war between France (us) and Austria (AI):
Mission Tittle Location
0 Cruiser battle Syracuse
1 Fleet battle The Straits of Otranto
2 ? ?
3 Cruiser battle Zakynthos
4 Fleet battle Linosa
5 ? ?
6 Convoy defence Sirte
7 Action with light forces Valona
8 Enemy destroyer raid Corfu
9 ? ?
10 ? ?
I have two questions:
1. If we add more missions, let’s say numbered 11 to 20, would they be picked up by the AI when selecting one battle? Or will AI still choose only from files 0 to 10 anyway? If we could add more scenarios that would stop battles being too repetitive after a while.

2. Missions 2, 5, 9 and 10 do not specify neither mission nor location. How do they work?
How does the AI create a scenario in those cases? Sometimes it’s even more extreme: for example, in a war between France and the USA, all 11 scenarios are unknown! The warfiles do not specify neither a single type of battle nor any location. As warfiles go, seems to me that they would benefit from some work.
Anyway, is there a pool from where the AI selects a scenario in those cases? Maybe it randomly chooses any of the scenarios in that warfile (France warfile in the above example)?
