![](//storage.proboards.com/5448234/thumbnailer/xYGljkQQWLYgiXrcNiBW.png) Repeated "Access violation at address 006AF426 in module 'RTW3.exe'. Read of address 00000068" Keeps repeating almost every turn (after about 150/200ish turns elapsed normally) during a naval exercise battle of germany(1890 start), sometime infinitely for same turn, blocking the battle from finishing. I tried 3 times with different fleet compositions (always all BCs and BBs included). Steps to repro: Load atttached save RTWGame1.sac Play a few turns RTWGame1.sac (187.43 KB) Please take a look at this. It happened in my other germany campaign (1890 start) that I abandoned thinking the bug was due to latest update. Thank you!

Hello mtard -Thanks for the report! If you can, could you post the entire save game folder, as we need the entire folder and all files in it to be able to debug the save. You can either zip the file up nad post it here, or post it to a cloud/file-sharing service like Google Drive, DropBox, etc, and then post a link to it here.

Oh... my bad. The save has been overridden as I didn't make a copy for this issue. You may close this one and I promise I will send a full zip of the folder next time I encounter the bug in a new issue. <S>
Thank you!

This type of error occurs because the game is attempting to access memory that is used by another application. You can run SFC /scannow from the command prompt as the administrator.

Hi, oldpop2000. I am an old guy, like you. But unlike you I fit the stereotype of old guys and am badly technology challenged. Your post went completely over my head. This was no big deal, I thought, I will just keep my mouth shut and no one will know how dumb I am. Unfortunately, I think the game is messing with me, and I just had that same error message.
So what are you saying? Is this a game problem or a pc problem? Sounds like you are saying the latter

oldpop thinks the problem is a software conflict on your PC.
If you run the Command Prompt app as an administrator, then type in SFC/scannow it forces a system scan.
I presume that this will show you if another program is using the memory address - hopefully, one you can disable in order to allow RtW3 to run successfully.

Thanks. I was able to save the battle in progress, and upon reloading was able to complete the battle without further problems. I have run the command prompt app and now know what I can try if the problem recurs. It was rather amusing that I had never encountered this error message (that I remember) before and then it occurs the day after I read this thread.
