I want Far East Russia! I want India! I want to land on the West Coast of the United States! We can fulfill your desires. This mod changes the home area and larger value territory.Since the value is being changed, the budget may be out of balance. The value is set to 15, so Harsher peace deals is assumed to be used.Due to the small number of test plays, there may be unexpected behavior.
How to use 1.Create a backup of your files.
2.Unzip the downloaded zip file and extract the contents to Steam\steamapps\common\Rule the Waves 3\Data 3.Start a new game.

Wait--if I'm understanding this right, this mod gets rid of Home Areas and puts more territory on the map?

Wait--if I'm understanding this right, this mod gets rid of Home Areas and puts more territory on the map? It is something like that. The area circled in red in the attached image will no longer be the home area. This has not been fully tested yet and may have bugs. If it works well, it should be able to occupy Far Eastern Russia and the West Coast of the United States.

Do you think the logic of this could be extrapolated to deleting Austria-Hungary if they get beaten badly enough? I'd love to replace them in some of my Italian games with China, in order to make the Pacific more interesting and remove the Adriatic Annoyance lol

I'd love to replace them in some of my Italian games with China, in order to make the Pacific more interesting and remove the Adriatic Annoyance lol I'm afraid it's impossible, once a new game has been created, each country will need at least 1 home region and 1 building area. You cannot really "delete" a country but you can move it to somewhere like Falkland Islands by editing the GameX.bcs file and MapdataX.dat (with notepad) file in your SAVE GAME FOLDER. How to do it: open the mapdata file, search the home region(s) of the country you want to "delete" (for example, A-H), edit the value of the region to 9 (or lower) so that region could be mannually invaded. Then, search Falkland Islands, switch the owner to A-H, then change the value of Falkland Islands to 200 so it will be the new home region of A-H. Then, open the bcs file, search A-H, change the building area to the area which Falkland Island belongs to (don't make any typo), save all files, now you are all set. Enjoy the game! (Don't forget to make copy of your origin save file just in case you mess it up by accident. You buy the game, it's your right to do editing, but you take all your own responsbility) |

It could be deleted as others have explained. |

The mod was modified because territories with a VALUE greater than 10 could not be invaded.
All large territories were set to value9.

This is what i currently do every save, i just quickly go edit the 10-15 possessions/provinces that cost to much "value" and play the game with more territory to fight over. I am now looking to add in many more possessions/provinces and ports into the game to balloon the number of possessions/provinces. |

Thankyou, other than "conglomerating" possessions and ports, I have to worry about mission locations, costal batteries locations and submarine latitudes (which I have not figured out yet) Currently in contact with the master of all this |
