1.00.34 "Alt" key not unpausing after autosave

Playing the 1.00.34 beta, the "Alt" key works fine most of the time to unpause and advance one minute. However, after an autosave where the game pauses, and the "Alt" key does not function anymore, while the others do. I find that pressing other keys like "Spacebar," even though it does not unpause the game, will fix the "Alt" key and let it start working again.
