Looking at this one, thanks. That is not due to the size but because a BB needs at least 8 guns.

Looking at this one, thanks. That is not due to the size but because a BB needs at least 8 guns. While BC are IIRC limited to 12" belt armor. A 15" belt 6 gun isnt being allowed. >>> This design is for a high defense ship to withstand action with DD torps doing the significant damage to the enemy. Phase 1 = long range gunnery needing large guns for their range Phase 2 = at a point of maneuver advantage DDs charge to unless swarms of torps for a few hits Phase 3 = This ship closes to give penetrating hits to slowed enemy needing its own heavy armor to withstand incoming fire

I did some interesting "station" B's in some lategames with 6 or even 7 main guns. Superior to anything below contemporary BC/BB and far more economical than using "full size" but older BC/BB on "station" duty. Does not work at all in seas where a potential enemy has a home area though...

Im really focusing on the combination of armor-speed-guns isn't allowed.
Couldn't the limitations be adjusted to something like 11in+ guns then splits based on just speed between BB and BC?

BB needs either minimum 3 turrets or 8 guns, so if you could make it three twin all-forward turrets it would work. Alternatively, in RTW3 a BX over 30 knots speed is always a BC regardless of armor or armament.
