I had some ships that received updated fire control during construction. For whatever reason, the game assigned them different designations, e.g. one is 1916, the next 1916a, then 1916b. They have the same new fire control, to my knowledge there is no difference between them. But now when I try to rebuild them, I have to do a new redesign for each one, as the game thinks that they are different classes.

I had a similar "issue," but one ship came out slower and didn't match it's design speed, while oddly the other did. I guess that is possible based on how there were quirks in certain ships, but the speed definitely affected the ability to refit as one-class, including fire control. Were they BCs by any chance? |

Yes exactly, it was three BCs. All mine were the same speed though I think. |
