1.00.35 beta, spacebar isn't moving. [Not a Bug]

For some reason, pressing the spacebar in battle doesn't do anything. Am I missing a setting somewhere, is this a bug, or was this feature removed? I find that battles are very unpleasant if I have to move my mouse up to the top of the screen every single time I want to progress to the next minute.
