Saves not being saved to the Documents Folder [Resolved]

I recently updated to the new patch 1.00.37 but I noticed that save files were not appearing in the "documents/My Games/Rule the Waves 3" folder.
You can see the above location in the first attachment. It is empty except for the launcher data and that steam file.

The saves also aren't going to the old location, the save file inside the RTW directory. Saving and loading work fine in game, so I just have no idea where my saves are going and where they are being pulled from.

You will find the RTW3 saved files in your computer's documents folder in the "My Games" file. This file save changed happened with the latest update. I am using version 1.00.37. I can only suggest you might have more than one documents folders if you have multiple drives.

Nevermind, turns out there was a second documents folder that for some reason was entirely unconnected to the my main documents folder, and only had one folder in it, that being of RTW 3
