The new update specified the number of spare missiles instead of simplified reloading, which is a good thing. However, the weight of reloads was not adjusted accordingly- now a set of heavy SSM with 4(4) reloads weighs a whopping 256 tons compared with a set with no reloads 4(0) at 96 tons. Pretty sure that the reload weight is calculated 4 times, as missiles stored weighing more than those on launchers does not make sense to me.

Is that 4 reloads of 1 missile each or 4 reloads of 4 missiles each?
I'd expect the latter, for a total of 16 missiles for 160t (or 10t per missile).

Preliminary tests show that the number of missiles is almost certainly less than 20. Another convincing evidence is that reloads are now limited by the number of tubes, as a x-tubed launcher can only have at most x reloads

The deck space for early SSM reloads also seems whacked so I never take reloads on early SSM
