AP tech after 1923 does nothing/does not work

In addition it seems in 1904 there is a tech that reduces penetration, same in 1912.



But as can be seen, this makes it pointless to have anything but low research priority on AP shells, as they just dont do anything better after 1923

this specific graph was generated by the creator of the gun quality mod iirc.

We have discussed this, IIRC there are some later AP shell techs that should be added...will check with Fredrik W.

You are correct, there was a bug that capped AP penetration. It will be fixed in the next upgrade.
