What do the asterisks mean in the "Air Group Management" menu next to my fighter squadron names? i.e. "7056 Squadron *" It seems to only be appearing next to prop fighter squadrons and I've only noticed it now I'm deep into the jet age (1953 to be precise) Attachments:

These are aces, they get this as an award for a number of air-to-air kills or bomb hits in a battle. E.g. the manage ten bomb hits in a single battle, they will receive this to denote their success in battle.

LOL I like the idea of the old aces sticking to the prop planes they've always used while the newbies use the newfangled jets. Kinda like many of the Luftwaffe diehards flying the BF109 to the very end despite their being numerous "superior" options available...
