1. Currently, it is impossible to save a design which violates current treaty limits. This is unnecessary, because there is already a separate prohibition on building existing designs which violate the limits. Clearly, then, it should be changed from an error to a note, allowing the player to carry out design studies during a treaty period. There is no drawback and it would make treaties more interesting.
2. Treaties are generally always bad for the player, because the player always receives many budget cuts with the 'armaments spending is cut due to treaty' event, as well as the 'armaments spending cut due to low tensions' event, leading to the player's budget being much smaller in proportion to national resources than the AI's budget. I don't know whether the low tension event affects the AI, but 'armaments spending is cut due to treaty' apparently does not. Therefore, 'armaments spending is cut due to treaty' should be removed to make treaties more worthwhile.
3. There should be an (N) tag next to night capable aircraft in the strike window.
4. The player should receive a warning before he reaches the threshold for budget cuts due to having too much money saved up. This threshold is also probably too low, and should be increased.
5. There should be an option for carrier - range fleet exercises. "Long" starting range is almost superfluous because it is so short.
