Can't get Preferences to save

Looked at 37 upgrade notes

set C/Users to Admin control, rebooted, no joy

Moved saves from D:....Save to C/Users...., no joy

moved steam_autocloud.vdf to C and D save locals, no joy

Love the game, not the annoy

I cannot do that because the f**king game said they cannot find my user folder (the user name is my local user name) and I cannot add a new user in your way because its name has already been occupied by my local user so itr is stuck there
