The BCB2.tdf file, apparently intended to represent Invincible class battlecruisers, does not have cross deck fire.

Will check on this, but IIRC there was so many issues/drawbacks with cross-deck fire in real life that it was virtually never utilized, not sure if we allowed that for the game for some mounts or not.

AFAICR, in game it's limited to a combination of F&K or G&J

I assume you mean template BC2B0. The turret layout for that marvelous recreation is AHIY, clearly WAD in not allowing cross deck fire. I changed turrets H and I to F and K, repositioned them to roughly where Mr. Smith (I'm guessing) had them, and activated cross deck fire. It worked, but I exited without saving in the ides file. I don't believe the claims that those ships had a limited cross deck fire IRL.
