How do i change maximum Dock size from 52000 too bigger?

Welcome to the forum. To my knowledge you can't build ships bigger than 52K in the game. The algorithms that determine engine weights get messed up beyond that or some such so they capped ship design at 52k. Yamato's will have to wait until RTW2. There is a mod created by skwabie that changes a lot of the limits for the game but I think the 52k limit is still there.

There is a mod created by skwabie that changes a lot of the limits for the game but I think the 52k limit is still there. 100,000 ton +. However 1) errors will happen between 53000 - 61900 tons. 2) the AI will not build ships above 52k.

Sorry for bombarding an older post. Is there any benefit at all to manually building dock size above 52,000 (If the game allows it). I appreciate the game may boost it with private sector events from time to time over and above 52,000.

To my knowledge there is no benefit at all to dock-size being larger. "Time to build" never changes, and is based on type only (unless you are England). A 9,000 ton B will always take more time to build than a 22,000 ton CA.

Even if I have the money to spare, I rarely manually expand my dockyards once they are at 27-29,000 ton size.

Where in the game files is the max dock size set to 52000? Somewhere in the Data file i assume?
