I was going to buy RTW early last year. Then I noticed that RTW2 had been in the works for at least 2 years. So I decided to wait for RTW2 and scratched my itch by watching let's plays. One year later, I gave up on waiting for RTW2 and bought RTW.
Is there maybe a vague release date you can give us to reward us loyal fans Fredrik?

I can say at this point that RTW2 will be out sometime before the end of this year Don't have an exact date yet but we have the above.

On January 1st, the dev (fredrik w) posted this: That's all we know for now. It's been a couple of months since that, so the release timeframe would be "sometime in the next 1-4 months" if his estimate has stayed accurate at all.

RTW2 will have a host of changes. As well as aircraft and carriers, it will also adapt the politics in the game the 1930s. There will also be a number of improvements in the mechanics of the game. All this takes time to implement and test. We are loth to commit to a release date before we can be certain, so as not to disappoint you. We can say it will be this year though.
Registered owners of RTW will be give a discount on RTW2.

Or is is a matter of manually looking through your own database for purchasers? The discount is very much appreciated, and I plan to support RTW2 once it is released.

Iridium - We will of course likely need some basic info from the purchaser in order to give discounts to previous RTW owners; more details will be available closer to the release.
