So in the most recent game of Rule the Waves I've been playing there's a ship I want to make sure becomes a museum ship. I know how you can turn RTWGame(Number) into a txt file (and then back, although that's always a bit tougher on Windows 10), and where to find all the existing ships of a nation. But I don't know which numbers you tweak to make the ship a museum ship. So here's the text from the ship I'm trying to turn into a museum ship, can someone tell me which values to change?
Ship141Name=Conner
Ship141Classname=Balch
Ship141EnemyClassName=Balch
Ship141ShipType=DD

Ship141Maintenance=22000
Ship141Halted=0

I believe changing Ship141Status=0 to Ship141Status=9 is what you need to do, though you may also need to mess with the value of the MuseumShip= line.
Alternatively, you can just mothball it and name it [Ship Name] Museum or something like that, which doesn't cost you any more than turning it into a 'real' museum ship would.

Here are the values for a ship the game made a museum in my current game, USS Louisiana. Like aeson stated it looks like the only major difference is the ship status line. Also like he stated the "Museum=" value at the beginning of the file in the [General] area now has a value of "1". I believe that just indicates the event has fired.
