After conferencing with Christopher Dean (the NWS owner) and Fredrik (the RTW2 developer) this afternoon, we have decided to revise the 'Transfer' option on the protection system for the RTW2 game. You will now have an unlimited number of transfers you can perform for the game from one machine to another: www.nws-online.proboards.com/thread/2062/protection-system-aps-rtw2-detailsWe do listen to our customers, and this is one of the changes that we agree is a good idea . Thanks!

Two concurrent activation with unlimited transfers? That is totally fair, and a less confusing arrangement! Looking forward to playing it whenever you guys get it up. I think to survive the wait I'll binge some netflix haha.
Thanks guys.

Thanks! Tbh this was never an issue for me - personally.
However I have to admit that this is one of the coolest developments i've seen in terms of gathering and acting on consumer feedback. Well done.

I just destroyed the French Dreadnought fleet in a weird encounter. Their BCs drew my BBs to their fleet when it was turning to night and I had already sank their BCs when they suddenly appeared from the pitch black darkness. Suffice to say that I launched a night torpedo attack from 3 carriers, they finished off the damage what the crazy torpedo duel did. All screens and even BBs suddenly launched their vollies of torpedoes but somehow the French lost that 1000yard engagement. They lost 9 BBs, the 3 BCs, several screens and I only lost 5 DDs. Indcredible how the night fighting is so terrifying. I had already turned for home port since I couldn't locate the enemy fleet and damn. They were slaughtered.
It helps that my 1500ton DDs had max amount of torpedoes with 3 4inch guns. Even my CLs are full of torps. British Jeune Ecole?

Just a little suggestion to make it easier to design superstructure; when placing funnels, it's a bit tricky to get the exact positioning. It would be nice to have a "ghost funnel," showing where the funnel would be placed if you clicked at that moment. If nothing else, I imagine this would be easier to implement than a full superstructure auto-generator.

It’s a very, very small thing but it would be nice to have premade superstructure blocks that match the side view pieces for the less artistically inclined.
Similarly, and maybe relatedly, having a side view generator that matches the AI designs would be great. The AI fleets would all have art work, the legacy fleet would and if I uses the generated templates my own ships would have their art taken care of.

hmm, so I have a question. Does anyone know in more detail how the Elite pilot training works? It says in the manual it gives you a corps of well trained pilots. but what does that exactly mean? My best guess is that you expend more money per a plane, and they slowly gain more and more exp. It also says losses have a larger effect on experience levels. but what if you just turn it off when you get into a war? does that still hold?

I think I noticed it being grayed out during war, so that might be to prevent you from doing that.
My guess would be that it lets you train squadrons to a higher level during peacetime, but you have a harder time dealing with losses during the war.

Thanks for the update I had an unscheduled (and as-long-as-I-wanted-to-keep-my-marriage non-optional!) clean of the fridge this morning, so the delay isn't all bad from my angle - it would have been a _very long_ fridge clean if I was thinking I could have been playing RtW2 instead* . * I don't tend to play demos if it's a game I'm definitely getting at launch, and prefer the idea of playing through from 1900 as well (at least the first go-round) so haven't played the demo. I know I could if I got really desparate .
