I think it might be them saying your plane is fragile... planes can have those modifiers as well, I think.

I saw that the Soviets fired two of their admirals in the span of 4 months, probably because of budget mismanagement. I don't think something like that can happen in RTW1. Also, some of my pilots called my latest fighter design a "lemon". Anyone know what this means? I'm guessing this is flavour text for poor reliability being discovered in a new model of aircraft. It's a euphemism for unreliable products, most commonly seen in the context of used cars.

Recently one of my new aircraft designs was called "The flying brick" by the pilots. Not exactly a good sign for a fighter layout...

It seems that no matter what nation i play... the AI gets TBs atleast 15 years earlier and DBs about 10 years before me.
Case in point: current game with Japan... they have heavier than air as an advantage... yet i have not progressed past lvl 3 since the late teens. And it is 1931 currently. The first 3 levels came quick, but i am stuck on lvl 3 for forever it seems.

I was leading the world with TBs in a France in the early 20s, but was the last nation in the world to get DBs -> for that matter im the last in all 3 of my games to get DBs. I somehow suspect that just like the DP gun bug, it might be that AI is able to make DBs regardless of their teach after awhile.

Your own ships seem more likely to strike mines in battle if sailing around enemy ports.

Which is why i am so frustrated... getting my fleet blown to pieces just b/c no one on my side realizes how to strap torpedos or bombs to planes and make use of them...

If, for some reason, you're still building protected cruisers late in the game... ... you're not limited to two centerline turrets anymore.

I had an invasion battle for Sakhalin as the Japanese against the Russians, which I won after a messy night action. The invasion ships got confused and got stuck on the wrong side of the peninsula. I was annoyed to fail the invasion objective but pleasantly surprised when I got a popup message saying Japanese forces occupied Sakhalin after the successful sea battle. The developers clearly planned for this situation!

Submarines now lose reliability as they age, so far I have avoided trying to keep to see if it can hit zero but I like the idea.
