I think I can admire the German Army of WW2 without admiring the ends to which it was put... Have to disagree there given its complicity and participation in... certain things... Anyway, back on topic.

Once the dock size maxes out at 52k tons, how about any civilian or deliberate improvements work toward building ships faster. Say for every 5k tons over the max ship build/rebuild time reduces by 5%.

As a question, is anyone pissed off at the 'no compromise' peace?...
I was under attack by britain, blockaded...
I fought back, and managed to make their citizens starving by sinking merchants.
Our fleets clashed with mine utterly destroying their inferior antiquated battleships.
And yet...NOTHING happened!?

Okay, this is pissing me the fudge off...
EVERY FUDGING WAR HAS ENDED WITHOUT A MAJOR VICTORY...
Despite my fleets massacaring people, and my raiders starving the world, I have not made a single revolution...

Okay! SOMETHING REALLY BLOODY WEIRD IS GOING ON!
Went to war with US, and literally a 'no compromise peace' occurred within THREE MONTHS!

Just loaded a backup save just before I started war with US. SAME THING HAPPENED. I've just been having issues even getting a decent battle line battle that doesn't end in at most one pre dreadnought being sunk

Running Beta 2 of the newest version.
I think torpedo aiming needs another look at.
One of my battlecruisers just got hit by 4 torpedoes, because an allied destroyer 100 meters away fired right at it...

The warheads shouldn't be live that close to the launching ship.

here's how i name my BCs so in battle i know which ship-class i'm using i.imgur.com/GOzTSwt.pnghow about an option to show ship class names in battles instead of the actual ship names so i can name my ships like a proper navy? lol also, not bad VPs for an Italy AND Britain vs A-H 28 months into it haha

Does RTW have a sandbox mode, where you can just design ships and perhaps set up test battles for them without having the whole campaign game running? Or is that an SAI thing? Or neither? If this feature doesn't exist, it would be a nice addition.

Bullethead, I believe the lack of a sandbox mode is an intentional part of the design. The developers wanted to simulate what actually happened - you design a ship, spend years building it and then only after it is battle tested do you find out what you did right but mostly what you did wrong. So you go back to the drawing board and design a new ship based on your new knowledge, spend years building it, only to find that new technology has made it virtually obsolete. So you go back to the drawing board ...
