A small quality of life suggestion: I would like to be able to move and zoom on the map view while the peace deal window is open, with the ability to mouse over possessions to find out their name and to open the possession window to find their base capacity and value, and to change the map mode in order to determine whether or not a possession has oil. At present I just use Google maps to find out where possessions are, but of course this is not an ideal solution because I cannot learn anything about the possession's strategic characteristics, and it is sometimes difficult to even find the possession because of the use of antiquated names.

Have fun with these maps - legacy.lib.utexas.edu/maps/www.usma.edu/academics/academic-departments/history/atlaseswww.lingfil.uu.se/research/assyriology/earth/ - download this KMZ for Google Earth to get all the old names. Have fun, mate

I think he's looking for the actual current in-game status. For example, except for the territories that start the game with it oil finds are completely random so a real world map wouldn't help with that.
Even if the map itself can't be made accessible adding some indicators to that window like including ocean area, base capacity and oil status for each territory might go a long way.

I always wanted information on the ships that are available during peace negotiations. I am always struggling to remember what is what as you can't look at the almanac.

Right now when I am at war I do following: 1. in case I do not have access to oil, I take list of enemy possesion that have it 2. put list of possession I am intersted in
Worst thing what can happen you can choose possessions you want and you do not know which one. However there is still other solution, open the second RTW and load it before that turn to choose your possesions.

I'm always happy to see people link that spreadsheet. But I agree that being able to access the map info and/or the almanac during peace deals would be very nice. It doesn't capture new oil discoveries, after all, and that's one of the main reasons I would choose a territory.

I actually mentioned this just last week in our testing discussions, though at this stage I highly doubt there will be a chance to add it before release. But for the record, I would like to see this too.

There's always any future updates, hopefully. But yeah, at least a map overview and an almanac link during peace negotiation events would be great.
