I think one of the funniest things is the AI's 35,000t CVs with 6 aircraft.

Yup.....Definitely controlling the ships I should be....(Admiral Mode or Bust) (Game gave me direct control of my CLs on spawn, and my BCs as a supporting fleet. *facepalm*)

Ive got a 2 for 1 special here. First up is a double flash fire. Why blow the ship up from one magazine, when you can do it from 2 at the same time?
And then my best overkill ever. Holy **** guys, I think its dead, stop wasting torps, those things cost money you know!

While playing France I was puzzled by a report about an Italian aircraft carrier named Martin. Who was he? I assume that the AI, assigning names of birds to Italian CVs and CVLs (even Fringuello, which in Italian is an epithet assigned to newbies), has come across the martin pescatore = kingfisher.

eaterofsuns - "There's no way some Japanese anime company's gonna make a spaceship outta THIS!" A cheese-grater, perhaps... What you really needed was for that last torpedo to set off a magazine. That would be a complete job.

I mean, a destroyer engagement is supposed to show a couple destroyers on both sides. This, however, seems to be a wee bit excessive. Edit: Yes, this is pretty much every single destroyer i have in the area.

View Attachment Before I rewrote the Netherlands war mission file, there was a Destroyer Action mission set to use the maximum size. I was fighting with Russia and every destroyer I had and every destroyer they had ended up being used. Consequently, I sank every destroyer in the Russian Navy...
It was a wee bit excessive!

This thread has been inactive for too long. As such, I present this wonder of French engineering - one torpedo on the port side of their CLs. I guess I know which way the French are going to turn for their retreats. FYI, the war I'm in is as Italy against the USA for 40+ months - currently every country but GB has sided with me, and I'm debating trying to pull GB in on the side of the USA.

Yup, No problem here, no problem at all... Can someone please explain to me how this isn't a "friendly ship in line of fire" situation? EDIT: But then this is? How the heck is it calculated?

I think I broke something. So, I had a night time destroyer attack on the enemy fleet. One of my destroyers got heavily damaged (well, two, but only one is relevant to this post). Her propulsion was damaged, leaving her dead in the water. I ordered her to maximum speed (in case she'd been repaired), and, well... She's been ordered to a speed of 21,470kn. Unfortunately, her design didn't include a warp drive, so I'm not sure she can manage more than her 32kn sub-light speed. EDIT: I saw that the number was going past the text field, so I copy-pasted it into notepad to see the full number. Turns out she was actually ordered to 2,147,483,647kn (that's 2 billion knots). For anyone who's wondering, that's 2 31-1. Looks like a Ghandi bug.
