So, what got changed in RTW2 compared to RTW1 apart from the obvious like Planes and Aircraft Carriers?
The only thing I know of right now is that Armor effectiveness increases with technology instead of just having less weight, but there are no numbers.

Yes, it's the last appendix in the manual. It's about 7-8 short pages worth of changes so a little long to summarize in a single post.

For one machinery tech is more clear about the large changes, namely steam turbines.
