Text is at 125%, I think that's the default. I will try without.
1.0 the buttons in the picture i posted were normal, but the event boxes were all messed up in 1.0.
Will report back in a bit after adjusting text.
Thanks!

Ok I ordered the CD and it is coming. But now the game is updated. When I get the CD and install how hard will it be to update the game? Pretty simple...just download the latest installer, make sure you have your serial number available, and install the update. Unlike for some of our previous games, the latest update for Rule the Waves will patch any previous version of the game to the latest version, no 'incremental' patching will be needed. Thanks! I may be way out of line with this question. But since I ordered a CD which comes with a serial code could get the serial code by email so I could start playing. Sorry but waiting to play this is killing me.

Haggar, Chris Dean (the NWS owner/store operator) personally emails the serial numbers for our games to customers normally within 24 hours of an order (for both download and CD-ROM versions), so you should get one soon. If you do not receive a serial # within a reasonable period of time you should email Chris Dean at NWS-ONLINE@NWS-ONLINE.NET and he will make sure you were not missed. Thanks, and welcome to the forums!

Small issue.... tool tip type-O (missing 'n' in producing)
That's the type of bug reports I like. Really hard work to fix!

The intention is that you do not know the exact speed of enemy ships, what you see is the official data, which may be slightly misleading. However, it should have been equally misleading in both places. At lest now there is some uncertainty. Autodesign create incorrect ship displacement: ScreenshotYes, this is more than your allowed displacement, but you can modify the design or contract out to a foreign yard.

However, it should have been equally misleading in both places. At lest now there is some uncertainty. Could it be that this holds true even if you take ships as prize? Won a war against Germany, took their most modern cruiser as prize. In Service screen shows ship as having 21 knots speed, data view shows 24 knots, design screen shows 25. Presumably the official report on taking the ship into service just read "really fast, like woah"

I seem to be having problems sorting the 'under construction' ships by 'months left'. If I sort by 'type' and then 'months left' I get the screen below..... I tried several different sorting combinations but 'months left' seems mixed up

Never see it before beta7, so post it here: After that war nobody wanted to buy these bloody AMC, as spirits of sunk merchants appeared on their decks in night time, crying for justice... Attachment DeletedSeriously, during turn phases AMC scrapped BEFORE returning interned ships, so interned AMC stayed in service at peacetime.

When using the move ships interface I can't see the ships list on the left. I can blind select them, though, and discard the ships I don't want to transfer as a workaround. Could you post a screenshot of that? It's gone now, but when I posted the problem I tried with several new games. Basically the column "ships in area" didn't show any. In spite of that, I could select them by clicking in the uppermost part of the column, and even see the tooltip. If it happens again I will take a screenshot.

When a ship disappears briefly from vision, when it comes back it starts the whole identification cycle over again. The ship appears as Unidentified, then some possibly wrong type, before getting correct class and name ID. It seems like the crew should have a better idea that "hey, that ship that just appeared in exactly the same spot that Smith-class CL was thirty seconds ago is probably the same ship".
I'm seeing this now in beta 7, but I think I saw it in 6 as well.

Presumably the official report on taking the ship into service just read "really fast, like woah" I guess that this ship was designed as 25 knots, but in reality made only 24. Don't really know where the 21 knots is coming from.
