Is the AI autodesigner not bound by class restrictions? because I just saw this fella and I think the Italians are cheating just a tad. Attachment Deleted

The autodesigner uses the first step of the procedure used by the AI to build ships. The AI is then subject to a number of checks to make sure it doesn't exceed the parameters or available technology. Was this ship made by an AI nation or by you using the autodesigner?

I also thought that the game had a margin of error for reporting data on enemy ships, which could explain it?

But I seem to remember getting autodesigns that switched class when trying to save as well, particularly BC/BB late in the game (the autodesigner also has a habit of confusing CA/BC, designing CAs when you ask it to make a BC and vice versa).

On my laptop the buttons are all messed up and event text is either covered my pictures or outside the frame. Playing on 1920x1080. Tried resizing screen, etc but buttons stay like that. Thanks! Do you have text size set to 125%?
Edit: Another question: Was this OK in 1.0 but has changed in 1.1 beta?
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Text size didn't fix or change the problem. Thanks!

The Sleep of Reason: Why is the correct design CL in 1915 ? Nuclear reactor and no need funnels. But where the turbine?

If anyone else manages to produce an absurd ship design, please feel free to post it so I can block unrealistic ship designs in future versions.

Can't get to my Save Games till monday as I'm on vacation but in my current game Britain (I play Germany) builds 20000t Pre Dreadnoughts with 4x13" main battery plus 16 12" "secondaries" (Even HMS Agincourt had only 14...) Does that qualify as "absurd ship design"?

AMC designs created by myself often look quite unrealistic-don't think that any country may find dozen of 2500 ton 25 knot ships with reliable engines and extra large radius in 1902-1903. Attachment DeletedI suggest to set maximum speed cap for AMC, raising by some engine techs. Also spotted bug: Interned in Neptune Kingdom : Attachment Deleted(Unfortunately, I deleted save with it before war ends, so don't know would she pop up after peace)

Interned ships will show up in the sunk list until released after the war ends. Not a bug but maybe not totally logical.

Interned ships will show up in the sunk list until released after the war ends. Not a bug but maybe not totally logical. It's true for player, but for enemies interned afloat ships are still in "ships" list, not in "sunk ships". In this example real fate of Amiral Charner is shown in small window, and I remember that I sink her. BTW, is it possible to add submarines to sunk ships lists? EDIT: And one more sorting bug. Attachment DeletedIn Almanac ships can't be sorted by year [Out of bounds (2)], location [Out of bounds (3)] and data [Out of bounds (4)]

What I call the "lol wut?" Attachment DeletedYea that destroyer has a lot of guns... but 8 guns does not equal 25 hits. I dont care how hard you try.

More hits than you have guns is possible at short range, as light guns can fire several times per minute, but more than 3 times the number of guns seems too many hits, I agree. Do you have a save? Also there is a file that is called "Gunnery Log.skv" that could be interesting in these cases, but it is overwritten by each new battle.
