I would like to see the turret arcs. Interesting design but IMHO, it doesn't fit the profile for the mission or missions of a tin can.

Hahahaha! I'll take your word this is legal, I've questioned you twice before and was wrong both times. Back in RTW2 I tried to build a 3x4 6" CL and the designer wouldn't allow it. Maybe RTW3 will allow quad turrets for ships smaller than a CA. Like oldpop2000 mentioned in another thread, I'm not that crazy about quad turrets either but sometimes compromises are required, and I will use them if I don't like the other options.

It depends, of course, on what era you are in and which technologies you can use.
The DD that I use in 1920s-1950s has 8x4" DP guns in twin mounts, eight torpedo tubes, maximum ASW equipment and can make 34 knots or better. Once I move to using carriers as the principal capital ship, my DDs give up some torpedo launchers for better AA.
I use my DDs for 'feint' torpedo attacks (to herd and control the enemy cruisers and capital ships) and therefore value both all-round firepower and greater resistance to damage.

Well that's an interesting idea! I'm not to fan myself of either 6 inch DD or 3000 tons desings before missiles, but I could see it working as a destroyer leader of sorts. Personally I prefer 2000 ish tons desings with good torpedo complement and 5 inch guns, I found from experience that in Grand admiral having a greater number of destroyers tend to be the better option.
