It will expect you to build 2 additional Bx above what you are already building. However, it seems it is counting ships under refit as building, which is not WAD. Thanks for reporting this!

Yes. I believe it actually says "x *additional* ships". I hope for your sake the refits don't finish in a turn or two (before the 'good boy' popup).

both last version and this version i'v noticed that when the government wants me to build x amount of ships, what they say they want and the amount in the build requirements is always a different (higher) number in the last case the prime minister wanted me to build 2 additional Bx, which is fine so i said yes. however this is what appeared in the build requirements - a little ridiculous lol might this have anything to do with the fact i already had 2 BCs building and 8 BCs refitting? WThe game takes the number already in the build queue and adds the requested numbers to that, so the units under refit also count. But they count for fulfillment of the build requirements as well. It might be a bit gamey but I often need to refit older ships without any changes to the design to extend their service life. Such refits are short and cheap and would count for the build requirements...

thanks for the idea TBR - i just reverted back to the last turn's save (i save every turn) since most of my BCs were already under refit, but good to know there's an out!

@fredrik W, I'm seeing "Improved Director" giving a -20 impact in the hit chance window. Could this be a carry over from the old mechanism (I remember in SAI if ranges are close, improved directors give negative -20 for hit chance), or is it actually working as intended?..

i just bought tech offered by another country and i don't think it's taking all the cash out of my funds. i kind of thought it did this before too but wasn't paying 100% attention, but this time i barely had the funds to pay and i still had most of my funds afterwards
right now i'm playing austria-hungry, GB offered me an accuracy tech (forget which) for about 3mil in july 1900, i had 4mil in the bank +400k/turn, and now i have 3.4mil in the bank
EDIT: just happened again, i had 4mil in the bank, russians offered krupp armour for 4 mil, next turn i had 5mil in the bank
EDIT2: actually i don't know what's happening, i have 350k left over in my budget every month but my funds are going up by millions every month so i might be something else. might be an A-H thing? my first time playing them

I can't see the link to the 1.22 beta, only the regular 1.22 patch?

The regular patch (v1.22 included) always replaces the beta patch, so we currently have no beta patch out (although a new one may be coming soon).

Thanks, i was wondering why no nation has the "attention to detail" trait that's in the manual?

I played Austria-Hungary with an auto-generated legacy fleet. Commodore PC was kind enough to provide me a CA with large 10" wing turrets, even though I would never research that technology. This meant that even though I could build additional units of the class in a local yard, I could not refit them, as the rebuild would fail the Design Rule Check. The exception was the option to upgrade the fire control whilst under construction. Also, I lost a MS in a gun battle with a German U-boat, but one screen reported the loss as a duel with an Austrian U-boat (friendly fire!), and the end game summary did not log the MS loss at all. link

Will fix the wrong nation thing for patrolling ships sunk by subs.
As for the CA, will check, but sometimes legacy ships will slightly exceed possible designs. Pretend it is a brilliant design or a foreign built ship that came with blueprints.
Thanks

The ships sunk have to be reasonably close to the objective.
