Got a strange one. Most of my forces for an enemy coastal raid are scattered half way around the world. I may have ordered one of the cruisers back to Northen Europe from west africa but the rest were all in AF in Northern Europe (Russia V Germany).

The Panama Canal does not seem to exist in my game. Every transfer of ships between the US East and West coasts goes around South America.

There seems to be a bug in the battle generator. In my game as France I've had a good dozen fleet battles where my battlefleet simply decided not to show up. I was left with only cruisers and destroyers. Needless to say, that makes winning wars rather difficult. Could it be related to having BCs before researching scouting force in fleet tactics?

I was left with only cruisers and destroyers. Needless to say, that makes winning wars rather difficult. Could it be related to having BCs before researching scouting force in fleet tactics? I've actually noticed the same - a recent game as the US I only built BCs (along the lines of the German concept, 12in guns, good armour and speed), and none of them ever showed for my 'fleet battles' - I wonder if it somehow fails to substitute them if there are no actual B/BBs present?

In the last few turns (months) of my Spanish game, I have had convoy attack battles against Britain. Everytime I meet the requirements to 'win' (sink 2 TR, etc) but I always fail that objective. The last time I sunk 6 TR and still my objectives were pending so I clicked on 'locate' target and they were down in West Africa (our battle was in Northern Europe). Now this has only happened the last 3-4 turns. Before that convoy battles work normally and I 'win' if I sink the proper amount of ships.

Some convoy objectives are in the wrong places, and sinkings must be within 100 nm of the objective to count. This is a reported bug and will be fixed in 1.1.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but when I toggle the "Show main gun range" button in battles I would really like the game to treat that as an order, not a suggestion. It's rather annoying that it only seems to show it when it feels like it.

I've noticed that it won't show those kind of circles if you're running the game in "play" mode. The various circles/firing lines only appear when the game is paused for me.

Range circles display only when paused, as they would slow down the game otherwise. For some unknown reason they won't display until the game has been run for one minute.

Not sure if it is a bug or just a game design limitation, but there is a problem with secondaries in twin (or more) turrets. Secondaries are divided evenly by side, but there are combinations that don't split evenly. If you have 14 secondary guns in twin turrets, it comes out to 7 turrets, but you only get three per side. The seventh isn't actually on the ship, but the weight and cost are used in the calculations.
