Range circles display only when paused, as they would slow down the game otherwise. For some unknown reason they won't display until the game has been run for one minute. This doesn't always seem to be the case - even in the middle of battles the range circle sometimes fails to show up when paused.

I have never had the range circles not display in SAI or RTW. Do you have screenshots you can post?

I've had it happen a few times. Not enough to be worried about it, but it does happen.
Cheers

They will only show for the selected division, to avoid cluttering up the screen. If no division selected, no circles. Could that be it?

The Austrian AI has a real hard time with the two jagged triangle shaped land masses just to the southeast of Pola. Could those two be "snipped" off the map? The AI is trying to escape to its own port but gets caught up there.

It seems that when blockading an enemy with more than one home area, intercepts against 'ships running the blockade' take place in their 'main' home area, even if the blockade is elsewhere.
This particular example occurred while playing as Japan, I had the Russians outnumbered completely in Northeast Asia and was getting blockade points, then got a 'CA intercepts ship running blockade' event, with the battle taking place in North Europe - I had no ships in that region.
This also raises the question if a country with 2 home areas should be able to be blockaded just by controlling one of them?

I know this is somewhat simplified, but it is not possible to simulate everything as detailed as one would like.

No matter what extra training options I pick it always says "Crews are fully proficient in selected training".

Then there's probably a bug here, because I was showing Russia as blockaded, and getting points for it, while having no ships in Northern Europe at all.

Not clear if you mean that's just something we have to live with or if you will fix it? How does it work then, you select the training type, wait a year and all your crews from then on have the extra training? If you disable it later does the benefit immediately vanish or does it linger?
