I'm testing, this shouldn't matter. ...But.
France has Libya, and I beat them in a war already by avoiding Fleet actions. If Germany keeps the Home Fleet "home", I might only be facing France again. & my (cares too much) people speak German, we share a language and culture.
However, ... my relations with England are Perfect, my first dread-naughts are still a year away, and my relations with France are not so bad that I couldn't remain at peace.
Machiavelli and Admiral Pragmatism would tell me to sit this one out I think. ... *stares longingly at the Suez Canal...* but its a tough call!

I am finally posting this feel-good image jeeweej ! I had a lot of fun with this mod, and after we get 1 new feature ironed out I will get it re-installed in my current test game for more Dutch fun.
Are you still available to work on it, have you made any more changes or improvements?
Great to hear you having fun! I haven't worked on the mod in a while dure to real life priorities, but am open/available for improvements/fixes! And I see you keep the time-honored tradition intact of "the spice must flow" in Asia. I'll advise of anything that pops up, but if you've run it yourself on the recent release version and it is good then I know that there's nothing else to be done until the next release goes out.

I think the developers decided not to allow torpedoes on cruises under 2600tm.the reason is unknown to me but I'm sure it's for our own good This made me chuckle. ^.^

In I don't know how many 1000s of games, this is the most maneuverable fighter I've ever seen.
Has anyone ever seen another above 20 aircraft score?

A few more pics of the strategic picture. They have a few more subs, and more BCs, but I like my odds here. Now I just need to not screw it up! I'd try to close that BC gap if you can, though that is hard to do once hostilities are under way. I find 2 ships is a dangerous formation to accept battle with, one bad hit and suddenly your solo survivor is needing to run and facing a lot more potential hits, and if your BC's are new fast and just the bee's knees it can be very hard to not take them into an engagement. Good luck! & bravo on your steadfast posting, staying dedicated to the needed note-taking for your write-ups is not easy!

Good morning Jeeweej. I enjoyed this to a point but porting ships in Holland is still witchcraft it seems. You might have to put the detection zones a couple miles out and forego the navigation of that very interesting coastline. If I ever have the bandwidth to get back to AARs this one is definitely one I'll play.

A self - explanatory question, really: has anyone gone to the trouble of making one, yet; and do aircraft speed and level vs dive vs glide bombing make a difference? One was discussed by players I know when some potential performance-oddities questions were raised but I don't think one was ever actually created.

Firstly, this issue may only be with minelaying subs, but they do not take multiple names. I commissioned 12 coastal subs after this screen-shot and they were named normally, O-2 to O-13.
Secondly, a lot of winning with a small nation is being somewhat adroit in your decisions to run away. Unfortunately the ports are extremely difficult to trigger entry on. Could we move the detection zones a bit further out?
Oh wow, that sub naming one is weird! Currently sub names are configured like this: [SSPrefix]
O- Do minelayer subs need a different prefix? And to check, has this ever happened with non-modded nations? (I never really used minelaying subs, will also dive in to this. (pun intended)) Will edit the detection zones for the ports in the next version! Thanks for reporting. So this is puzzling us both now. Naming minelaying subs is now acting normally. So the only thing I can think of is that this happened because Minelaying subs were the very first subs I laid down, so this is probably a game bug rather than a mod bug. I will continue investigating.
I found another bug that I already think might be a larger issue but I'll advise on that once I figure out what its cause is.
