If devs think that it will reduce piracy, I am OK with this DRM process (It's nothing like Denuvo DRM which is now in majority of AAA titles).
I'd rather have devs actually earning living wages and continue to develop RTW2.

We all have been looking forward to RTW 2 for a long time now and hope that the dev team will carry on the good work.

I am curious at how many customers you are expecting to have on launch day, and what kind of system you have set up for dealing with a large influx of people buying it Day 1. So doing the math assuming you sit down and do nothing but send codes for 8 hours, you have 480 minutes. If you can send two emails a minute that’s 960 codes. Four codes a minute, if you can do one email every 15 seconds, that is 1920 codes. Now it is likely you will have somewhere near that number due to anticipation from youtubers, Let's Player's, and their followers, as well as the people on these forums and else where. Is there a system in place that will keep people from waiting 2+ days? I did basically the same math. Since Christopher has assured us that we will get our keys before the game locks up, one of these three things must be true: 1. The period of time we get before the game locks up is quite lenient--more than a day. 2. The team is expecting fewer than 2000 people to purchase the game on the first day--significantly fewer, closer to 1000. 3. Christopher will not be the only one sending out APS codes--William, Fredrik, and possibly others will be helping him.

1.. overall yes, we should have ample time to keep up even if the order load is heavy
2.. we are expecting good results..
3.. only 2 of us.. but we are quite capable of dealing with heavy numbers if needed
Thanks.

Sales of RTW2 and the community working constructively with us to help counter theft will be critical moves for us to work in that direction.
Thanks for the support friend.

I've actually been thiking about it since I read that post. I plan on starting to play the moment I get the game and not stopping until its bedtime, or, if I'm having fun, way after that. This would effectively mean the clock is ticking from the moment I download the game. This is if you get 2,000 downloads; but what if you get 20,000?

I think Warship NWS has shown in his comments during the last week that he is very committed to keeping RtW in the niche it currently is. So that should be nothing to worry about.

Another question I have is if you guys are GDPR compliant Christopher would be the one to answer this as he runs the operations, but we do use 'best practices' when handling or storing customer/personal information. We have never had a data breach or related incident, so I think we are doing good in that area.
