It takes a bit of work but I've been able to put together a scenario for Denmark Straight. It should be released by the end of the week Any assistance with research or ship design would be much appreciated, but feel free to start working on your own designs and I can help you turn them into a scenario The specific things I need for a scenario are 1. Designs for all ship classes involved 2. A roster of individual ships, their divisions, and preferably location and course at a given time 3. Numbers, allocations, and specifications for any aircraft involved. 4. Exact time and date 5. Weather Conditions 5. Objectives if applicable Here are the ships from Denmark Straights if anyone wants to work on superstructure designs Ships.zip (15.05 KB)

I should be able to help out with some research, especially with any potential WWII Pacific scenarios. Feel free to send me a message with specifics.

Here is the link to a thread I started on the General History Forum for Useful Archives and websites - nws-online.proboards.com/thread/1112/useful-archives-websitesI have been studying the Pacific War for fifty years and my dad was in it from Pearl Harbor to the end, if I can help you get the scenario's accurate, please put the question up here and I will do my best. This does not make me an expert, believe me. But I do love this kind of research. Don't forget the Pacific theatre was complex, trust me. BTW: Its the Denmark Straits. Don't mean to be picky.

It takes a bit of work but I've been able to put together a scenario for Denmark Straight. In my latest playthrough the battleships dueled for two hours before Bismarck scored a fatal hit on Prince of Wales. It should be released by the end of the week Any assistance with research or ship design would be much appreciated The secondary guns were 5.5 inch MK1. I don't know if the game has those guns available.

If this is the 1920 HMS Hood, then she had a secondary armament of 5.5 inch, 12 in all. Six single gun turrets on each side.

The 5.5 inch guns were removed a year before Denmark Straits. They replaced them with 14 4" DP guns in twin mounts. Do you know how much the new 4" turrets were armored. I found that the 5.5 inch (5 inch in game) were only armored 1 inch The new design I posted in the comment has the 4" configuration and is used in the scenario

I am amazed to learn that thanks to RTW2 it is possible to elaborate a scenario. I only knew about the possibilities offered by SAI, both for scenarios and campaigns.
A few years ago, a scenario appeared, in the SAI threads, entitled "WWII Battle of the Denmark strait", which I played a few times, without the explosion of the Hood ever occurring. The same author, whose name I can't remember, also made a "WWII Battle of River Plate". Also the battle off Crete, where the Italian cruiser Colleoni was sunk, was simulated in another scenario. I myself have sent a scenario about the Battle off Calabria ("Another Punta Stilo").

Here is a link to Navweaps information on those guns with the mountings at the bottom of the page. I have found no information or drawings depicting armor. These were mounts with splinter protection, not turrets as such. www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNBR_4-45_mk16.php#mountnote2

I'm running into an issue with Cape Esperance where the Americans with superior radar pick up the Japanese first- and promptly run away
