I would really love to see this project proceed. Midway would be a great addition. I'd happily pay for it. And Coral Sea. And Guadalcanal. Etc. Actions in the Med very possible too. How about a battle pack DLC, for a reasonable price? I think people would jump at that, no?
Of those already done, Seawolf, I really miss the pictures. Is there any way I can easily add them in? I have your really excellent 1936 mod and there are probably already pics for these boats in there, no?

I'm sure you're right about a battle pack DLC, maybe put that in suggestions? The devs are working on an expansion right now, but we don't know what it is yet. As for the continuing of this mod, its a lot of work relative to the product, which is why I decided to focus on the WWII mod instead. Once I'm done finishing the other mods, I'd need a larger team in order to do the big battles

Great. To add in the pictures would be very kind. Will you do that?

Posting updated battles to the main post Is there any news about the scenario with the battle of Matapan? Do you intend to simulate only the night clash or also the battle of the previous morning between British and Italian cruisers + BB Veneto + British torpedo bombers?

I'm actually waiting for the DLC to continue work, as there was mentions of a battle designer that could be helpful.

I would very much like a scenario editor that could generate ahistorical battles. Would pay for it.

It would be amazing to have the battle of river Plate, so that is my suggestion. Next options are the battle of cape Matapan and the battle of Mers-el-Kebir. Its kinda sad that the game does not allow scenario start with a damaged ship, that would allow for example the last battle of Bismarck or the battle of river Plate 2, against Cumberland. I released River Plate a week ago. Cape Matapan will probably be the next one. You absolutely can start the game with a damaged ship it just takes a bit more work. Mers-el-Kebir is interesting because I could probably set it up as a surprise attack I hope that in reproducing the battle of Matapan you also intend to include the previous phase, i.e. the clash of Gaudo, with the inconclusive gun battle and the subsequent intervention of the British torpedo bombers.

In my numerous simulations of that battle on SAI I have never obtained the same outcome as the historical one. This is entirely correct. In fact, in Adm. Santarin's book "Bismarck and Hood", through a probabilistic approach, it is demonstrated that the historical event had a very low probability of happening. Postscript: It seems to me that the position of the flags is reversed in the screenshot shown above.

Here is the article I have always used for reference -http://navweaps.com/index_inro/INRO_Hood.php Here is another - www.hmshood.org.uk/history/denmarkstrait/bismarck1.htmI think the hit was always called the golden BB. It might have hit where extra ammunition was stored but no one knows about it.

A very in-depth analysis. Jurens also wrote favorably about the study done by Santarini. Merry Christmas to all

BTW, on my second run, I heavily damaged Bismarck and sank Prince Eugen. I was examining the Hood specifications in the game, and I am going to tinker with her design to see if I can get her to blow up. BTW, Eugen was sunk at the Bikini Atoll Bomb Test. Actually, she was towed to Kwajalein where she rolled over and sank. She is still visible. I have the original book with her picture and my dad saw her.
