Tension with the UK starts at 4, which is about normal for auto generated starts. I'll move it down to 3 anyways, but that doesn't change that much with regards to the start of the war. The biggest difference from a normal start is that there's a big system of alliances, so if you declare war on one of the entente the rest will likely declare war on you as well. |

One additional option is that in the final version there will be an a-historical start with no alliances, that will avoid this type of world war

Can you post that version? Don't have either finished, but if you edit the file to prestige=0 and alliance=0 (For each nation) then it will strip all of the alliances I'm currently dealing with a rat infestation at my house so I can't work on it |
