I wonder if there’ll be some improvements to secondary guns’ placement in ships. At the moment AI automatically positions all secondary guns on the sides of the ship. This means the we cannot choose to have an odd number of secondary turrets, or place any in a central position (like for example some of the 6.1’ guns in Yamato) Will this still be the case in RTW3?

If you have, for example, 10 secondary guns in doulbe turret - 5th turret is considred centerline, afair.
Anyway, for the late game secondaries in anti-ship role are rather useless, since they're limited by 4 RPM.

Hopefully that is something that changes with the new game since especially with auto loaders historical US 5/38 twin mounts mount were capable of 14 rpm and the post ww2 stuff got up to 40rpm I believe. That would be amazing combined with a director against DDs

Actually it just gives you a single on each side, like some of the russian pre-dreadnoughts with mixed mounting secondaries
