Airstrike hits (torpedo hits on ships) are not recorded in the after action report for aircraft I can't tell if this is a bug or if airstrike hit reports are meant to include some false positives; my worry is that it could be both and that would make it really difficult to tell what the bug is.

Do you happen to have a save game from that? It would help us determine what the issue might be... Thanks!
(If you do, please zip it and post it here if its small enough if you wouldn't mind)
From the battle? Sure.
EDIT: I just noticed it's happening with every attack; I'm getting reports of attacks being launched by hundreds of aircraft being launched by 2 carriers with a total capacity of 50 aircraft! I should clarify, by the way; this isn't happening in the log at the side of the screen, only when I open the log window. If you want to try you might load that save into the new RC5 demo version when you can, and see if the behavior is different ( it may or may not be different, depends upon if the save is corrupted or not)...I will upload it to Fredrik to see what he can find out tomorrow.

It seems to be a bug. I recorded 3 hits by aircraft on a battleship that was then finished off by 6 hits from destroyers. The battleship aar showed 9 torpedo hits but the TB squadron showed none.

Bug 1 I had a fleet exercise with all of my CVLs and there were no air groups on any of the carriers even though I had placed air groups on all of the carriers. After the exercise ended I checked that they had air groups and sure enough they did. During the exercise they just disappeared. Bug 2 I fought a battle against the US and there were constant error messages towards the end of the battle. I must have clicked through over 50 of them. The error messages were: "Error in CheckForceWithdrawal procedure! Access violation at address 00403F10 in module 'RTW2Demo.exe'. Read of address 6570754F Some of the numbers and letters would change with each error message. Is this with the initial or the second Demo, not the new (RC5) demo version that I posted a couple of hours ago?

I looked at the file - that is a battle save - do you have the full save game? I.e. can you zip the entire "Game1" (or whatever game slot it was) folder up and post it, that way we can get all the environment and other info to run it? Thanks.

Just had a series of errors which locked me out of the game and corrupted my save file. Every time I moved my mouse cursor I got access violation pop ups. If there is a report file that would be useful to anyone who wants to check this out just point me at its location. Errors started after a fairly significant battle, if that helps at all.

Which version of the Demo was this with...the new one (it will read "RC5" as part of the title on the opening splash screen) or the older one?
It would help us if you could zip up the entire save game folder and post it here, if you don't mind. Thanks.

This was in RC5, the latest one from today. The error occurred in late 1922, but corrupted the save I did around that time. Now it shows 1920 and I've lost lots of progress, so I'm not sure if that will be helpful at all but here it is. Attachment Deleted

No, sorry, I deleted it when I updated to the new demo version. If I notice it happening again, I'll send you the save then.

Confirming that no airstrike hits are recorded for squadrons. Just played a 12 v 11 carrier battle where I sank 8 CVLs with Torpedo bombers(and no other ships in either fleet) and it says none of my squadrons got any hits.

please make it possible to build "rebuild-designs". Otherwise One has to build an obsolete ship and then rebuild it or design a completely new ship.
The issue is, that the rebuild-design of any given ship is not visible in the "build new ship"-dialogue

On my computer new demo installer (RC5) was very, very slow, at times I thought it actually crashed.
Every time I start new design from scratch and add torpedo tubes, it gets 12in torpedoes. While it is easily remedied by autodesigning the ship first, it is still a problem.

Do legacy fleets generate ships built in other nations? I ask because I just got a legacy fleet with a big class of BCs sporting 11" guns despite not having 11" guns available. Could mean they were built somewhere else, or it's a bug.
