It is. The issue is that people with smaller screens might want to dedicate most of the space to the map.
If wraparound was made, there would be a risk of the entries being a bit confusing. Maybe place a dash before each entry?

Oh my, more toys to play with in RTW. Keep 'em coming, might give me the push to do more than just stick a superstructure and leave them being mostly deck with a tower stuck in each side.

So, the wrong location for objectives bug seems to have returned.
Still Byzantium vs AH, Cruiser Battle missions. The objective is to sink x ships (any ship).

Sure, but given the game mechanics (you get +1, and that's it), it ends up being kinda meh. No real gain on it.
A compromise would be adjusting weight classes, at least one of those could be turned off. You want heavy guns? Turn light gun research off to raise the probability of having a heavy gun improvement. It's not guaranteed, but it does give you some amount of control.
You can't control your researchers, but you can give them guidelines.

Also, if the enemy takes a ship as reparations and it doesn't have the design for it, it will create an error message.
Teach me not to force the issue when both of us are with high unrest.

Ok, so I was playing with one of Director's custom nations, SA Union, and I got into a war with Spain. In a coastal attack-type mission, size... 2 I guess, I got this little pearl. España, que estás haciendo? So, 1 BB, 2 B and 1 CA. The first ones, so far so good, lucky torpedoes slowed them down and close-range night fighting did them in. Nothing unusual in the engagements. The problem was the BB. Somewhere during the night, I lost him and he started engaging coastal batteries. I don't know what happened then, but that BB did not try to move when I got to him. Didn't move at all. Logs don't show anything special to it, when it came to hits. Did it just stop to hit the target, then forgot to move when my Bs started to turn it into swiss cheese?

Hm... idea. Some way to create custom maps and be able to select them as we do nations.
Of course, if people wanted to use this with custom nations, some kind of tool to match both would be needed... this idea came when I recalled my countries in Nation states, and on how one of them would be less than 50 years old (in its current incarnation) as of 1900.
Maybe some short fluff description on the nations and what challenges you might find from playing them?

That's what they define as casemate guns. It's not a bug, it's a feature, and I mean it unironically.
Suggestion: Can a mode be made where the guns can only be mounted in casemates? XD

It was a Byzantium game against Austria-Hungary. I'll try to play with one of the default nations and see if the joke repeats itself.

This is an interesting issue... Possiblly, does this mean ships are currently too cheap, or rebuilds are too expensive? I believe that in the time period of the game, the introduction of the dreadnought and large armored cruiser by Fisher and the Royal Navy did have the effect of revolutionizing all naval ship building and of course tactics as well. It made almost all armored cruisers obsolete although they were still part of the fleet, at least for the two major forces, Germany and Britain. It is possible that the new ships should be more expensive and therefore less are built, at least by lessor nations like AH, Italy and possibly France. Even the German's had limitations on their naval budget. I don't know the real answer so I will go back to my books on the building of battleships by the British and the German Naval acts. I am not actually criticizing the game, just wondering how it relates to actual historical analysis. Yeah, but that would make the game nigh on impossible for smaller nations, given how the tensions mechanism seems to be bound to escalate stuff to war with no events whatsoever at times. Imagine getting stuck on one of those with GB or the US. Even if you came ahead on tonnage sunk, they could recover from their losses a lot better than you could. Also, I don't know if armour weight savings apply to rebuild ships? Yeah, game balance require some liberties with how things work, but then again, it's not like there's a good answer to this particular issue.

Yeah something like. "Convert a merchant ship" -budget (It costs SOMETHING to make one! ;P) +Prestige (No wasting good ACTUAL warships!) "Build one from ground up" ---Budget (EXPENSIVE!) -Prestige (Wasting all this money on carriers! Useless!) "Convert a battleship" --Budget (More intensive than merchants) ---Prestige (WASTING SUCH VALUABLE SHIPS! YOU SICK BASTARD!) (But hey, now you have a BIG carriers!) Add on to that idea: you have to do stuff (dunno what) ingame under the guise of carrier testing. If successful, give a boost to prestige, maybe budget, as you pretty much made history.

IIRC, only ships NEAR the target zone count as ships being sunk. Yes, that much was clear, but the issue is that the target was on the other side of the globe. Kinda hard to kill ships there, even if I had the range.
